MEET ABBIE

My fitness journey began back in 2015 when I started competing as a sprinter for my local athletics club. I trained 5 or 6 times a week for 2 to 3 hours at a time while balancing my school studies, exams and social life. Obviously this required a lot of commitment, but I absolutely loved working towards a goal and racing all around the country. During those years I learnt so much about time management, perseverance and the foundations of physical activity, and all of these lessons and habits have stuck with me ever since. However, when I started university I no longer had as much free time to train, and I decided to end my sprinting career and look for a new hobby.

 It wasn’t long before the gym became my new passion, but unfortunately the COVID pandemic put that on hold for a whole year. Fast forward from 2021 to now, and I’ve spent the last few years learning all about strength training and building muscle.

More recently I’ve rediscovered my love for running and I now follow a more ‘hybrid athlete’ approach, because why train for one thing when you can train for everything? I’ve documented my progress across social media and built an amazing community of women along the way, and this has led me to where I am today - sharing everything I’ve learnt with you in this ebook! 

I made a lot of mistakes at the start of my fitness journey, but you won’t have to do the same. I’ve covered every piece of the puzzle so you can look, perform and feel like the best version of yourself!
